The Foundation for Global Community is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to building a world that works for all life. Recognizing that natural, social, and economic systems are all parts of an interconnected whole, the foundation has been promoting cultural change, facilitating personal development, and strengthening community connections for over fifty years. The foundation’s Business and Sustainability Group educates companies about the principles of sustainable development and promotes a broader measurement of business success, the “Triple Bottom Line.”

Joe Kresse in The Translucent Revolution:

“Most businesses today only talk about creating shareholder value, all the rest is secondary - they don't realize that they've put the cart before the horse."
