LINDA LANTIERI has over thirty-five years of experience in the field of education as a classroom teacher, administrator, and university professor. Currently she serves as the director of Project Renewal, a project of the Tides Center. She is also the director of the New York Satellite Office of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).
Project Renewal serves New York City teachers, counselors, administrators, and others working with young people as they continue the recovery process after September 11. Their goal is to take care of the caregivers both to strengthen their ability to thrive when faced with unprecedented circumstances and to renew their spirits and sense of purpose.
Linda Lantieri in The Translucent Revolution:
“We've got more than anyone in the world, we've actually got what belongs to other people in the world, and with all that, people are suicidal, so what's wrong here? I think that's the question to pose to our whole culture. We've lost our sense of connectedness, we've lost our sense of belonging to ourselves and one another. We've lost our sense of understanding that we're living in a meaningful universe that is interconnected." Linda's Website
