AMY McCARREL has studied the movement of the spirit through the arts of yoga, poetry, dance, and scripture. She is committed to bringing the light from sacred arts and discipline into the daily lives of the individuals and communities she works with. Amy holds a bachelors degree in poetry as well as dance from Naropa University. She is a longtime apprentice of both David Deida and Sofia Diaz, combining insight with embodiment throughout her studies. Amy has been leading an ongoing committed women’s group in Boulder, Colorado. for several years as well as teaching women’s weekends throughout the world. When she’s not traveling she teaches Hatha yoga for men and women and gives private sessions by phone and in person.

It's happening all the time."
