FRANCES VAUGHAN, PhD, is a psychologist practicing in Mill Valley, California, and author of several books integrating psychology and spirituality. She was formerly on the clinical faculty at the University of California, Irvine, and has served as president of the associations for transpersonal and humanistic psychology. She is a trustee of the Fetzer Institute.
